About me

My name is Andrea Bianchi, I was born in Bologna, Italy, and I am a naturalist passionate about animals since I was a child.

I grew up with tortellini, documentaries, encyclopedias and I graduated in Natural Sciences in 2016.

In 2023 I obtained a certificate of Biodiversity Manager, after a course at EIIS (European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability) in partnership with WWF Italy.

A few years ago, I tried starting a blog—but I gave up too soon. Then I traveled through Australia—a land of unique species and breathtaking landscapes— and now

my desire to write and share my knowledge about wildlife and nature is stronger than ever.

In this space, we will talk about:

  • animals, because everyone loves them.

  • plants, often underrated but incredibly fascinating.

  • places, rich in biodiversity and important for conservation.

Along the way, we might meet some famous people who made or are still making the history of Natural Sciences.

Now you might be wondering: what does the blog’s name mean? It sounds like a tongue twister, but it is a joke about my translated surname “Whites” and the words “Wild World” to create the acronym WWW.

Thank you everyone will decide to read and follow me in this journey into the wild.

Welcome to the Wild Whites World!
